• Make sure your story is spell-checked
• Your story should fit in the general subject of the blog or website
• Your story must be truly interesting to the audience of the weblog
• Your text must be aligned with the tone of voice of the weblog

On some weblogs, owners ask money for a promotional blog. It is up to you how much you are willing to spend.
